This Privacy Policy explains what information My Emergency Info (operated by All Texas Media LLC) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using myemergencyinfo.net, you agree to the practices described here.
When you sign up, you provide information such as your name, email address, emergency contacts, doctors, medications, medical conditions, allergies, and blood type. You choose what to include — all of it is entered voluntarily by you.
We use the information you provide to create and display your public profile page and printable PDF card, to generate your QR code, to send you account and confirmation emails, and to operate your subscription if you're on a paid plan. We do not use your emergency-contact or medical information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Your profile page is, by design, accessible to anyone who has your link or scans your QR code — that's what makes it useful in an emergency. It is not private or access-restricted. Please don't include anything on your profile you wouldn't want a stranger to see.
We rely on a small number of outside providers to run the Service, each of whom only receives what they need to perform their function: Cloudflare (hosting and database storage), Resend (delivering confirmation and account emails), and GoHighLevel (processing your signup form and, for paid plans, billing). We do not permit these providers to use your information for their own purposes.
Your information is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Edit links are stored only as irreversible cryptographic hashes, never in plain text, so even we cannot look up your edit link directly. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we take reasonable, industry-standard steps to protect your data.
My Emergency Info is a consumer product you use directly — it is not provided by, or on behalf of, a doctor, hospital, health plan, or other HIPAA "covered entity," and the information you enter does not pass through such an entity. Because of that, the Service is not regulated as a medical record under HIPAA, and we are not a HIPAA "business associate." We still take the privacy commitments in this policy seriously, but you should think of your profile as a self-managed emergency-contact card, not a secure medical record — enter only what you'd want a first responder (and anyone else who might see your QR code) to know.
You can update or correct your information at any time using your edit link. You can request that we permanently delete your profile and account by emailing us. If you're on a paid plan, cancelling stops future billing; you can request deletion of your data separately at any time.
We keep your information for as long as your profile is active, and for a reasonable period after cancellation in case you want to reactivate. We delete it sooner if you request it.
My Emergency Info is intended for use by adults, including parents or guardians creating a profile on behalf of a minor dependent. We do not knowingly allow a child to independently create or manage an account.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent changes.
